The performance explores the theme of single parenthood. Here, our own childhood memories (cognitive and material) are accessed through self-reflection, and through artistic practices and points of interaction, ways of embodying, transferring and transmitting discoveries are sought. The performance attempts to understand possible couple dynamics leading to single parenthood, social constructions and stigmas, as well as how being a son or daughter of a single mother affects our habits, choices, actions and perception of life around the age of creating our own family.
What do we look for in a partnership? Why do we continue to cling to a sinking ship or walk away so easily? How does one of the couple show that the love they once felt for the other is gone? How does a person show love?
